This move comes as a planned one in Prashant’s career. In pursuing his personal vision and aspiration, he started his career in Quality Management consulting for 11 years but as he admitted, “with almost no experience in the Corporate world”. Soon realized that he needs to practice what he was preaching all along, before he could finally come back into a domain he is passionate about – Consulting and Training.
Prior to Q3Edge, Prashant was Senior Director – Quality, Service Excellence for the Max Group with additional responsibility of overseeing the Innovation Management program. At Max, he was responsible for the development and implementation of an integrated Strategic Quality model, viz Max Quality System that entailed Business Excellence (Baldrige), Service Excellence, Innovation Management among other initiatives for the Group companies – Max Life Insurance, Max Healthcare, Max Bupa Health Insurance, Antara Senior Living and Max Specialty Films with staff of ~70,000. Prashant spearheaded this change program, leading to excellent financial results, appreciable customer experience improvement and customer retention benefits, as well as built a strong quality leadership team. He represented Max India on the Boards of all the Max companies.
Prashant has over 30 years of expertise in the Quality, Organizational Excellence and Customer Service Experience domain. In the past, he has worked with reputed organizations in India and Overseas – Taj Group of Hotels, Mashreq Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and Qimpro Consultants (Indian affiliate of Juran Institute Inc, USA) during which he consulted with several blue chip companies such as Tata Steel, Taj Group of Hotels, Citibank, Piramal Hospital, Larsen and Toubro, Voltas, Jet Airways, Blue Star, Modi Continental, Sterlite and international assignments in Singapore, Kenya, Pakistan, with reputed organizations such as Coca Cola and Reckitt and Coleman, Aga Khan University Hospital (Karachi), and so on.

Prashant is among the two in the country to have qualified as a Certified Trainer and Facilitator from the Juran Institute Inc, USA. He is a Master Examiner / Assessor on the Max Performance Excellence Framework (based on the Malcolm Baldrige National Award Criteria Model). He has also qualified as a Six Sigma Black Belt and has a Leadership qualification from INSEAD, Paris.
